Starboard Windsurfing (Philippines) is now sponsoring The Cebu360 Project. The Philippine distributors of Starboard has also expressed interest in taking part in the video project and might bring a couple of demo windsurfers to Cebu to take part in the filming. Watch this space for more news!
Fudge Magazine, a publication of Sesame Seed Creatives, Manila, Philippines, has expressed interest in featuring the Cebu360 Project in a future issue. Fudge Magazine has published other articles by Myles Delfin previously including a report on The Philippine Everest Expedition and a variety of Adventure Race Events among other stories about travel and adventure. Hacienda Escudero in Quezon Province is playing host to a cross-country race sponsored and organized by Sabak Sports on the 22nd of March 2009. The race course will most likely be a seven-lap circuit of seven kilometers per lap. Registration is pegged at five hundred pesos plus another five hundred deposit (refundable at the end of the race) for the timing device that each of the participating racers will be carrying with him during the competition. Velodrone will probably be there to cover the event and compete as well. Watch this space for more news!
The itinerary for this Sunday’s Payapa, Batangas ride is available as a PDF file here. The ride will begin in Pacita Complex in San Pedro, Laguna 6AM and head through Carmona and Silang in Cavite, up over Tagaytay, down Payapa and Lemery, Alitagtag, Lipa, back to Calamba, and then end up again in San Pedro. The ride doubles as a film and photography run, images and video will be posted here soon. Watch this space for more news!
