The idea behind the Cebu360 Project is a simple story of curiosity about the people and places along the length of the coastal roads of the Island of Cebu.
It is a quest, so to speak, to go out and satisfy the curiosity that precedes every adventure, to discover the stories that make Cebu what it is today.
There is a genuine story there, an undiscovered tale just waiting to be told. Cebu, after all, is a place that makes its living in the curiousity of others, in the promise of adventure among its idyllic beaches and in the color and verve by which life on the island is celebrated.
Traversing the coast by road gives a three hundred sixty degree view of Cebu’s intimate stories, and what better way to experience it all, than on a bike!
The Cebu360 Project ride route is expected to take three days to ride non-stop, riders will ride night and day along the length of the coastal road of Cebu that begins in Cebu City. The itinerary will trace the coastline passing through places like Liloan, Danao, Bogo, and all the way to Daan-bantayan in the north, from where the route will swing southward towrds Toledo City, Moalboal, around Santander, Argao, Carcar, and then back to Cebu City for the finish. Although the event is not really a race nor is it inrended to be an endurance event, the team hopes to finish the ride within three days riding night and day to cover the distance within that time. The purpose for doing this is a production decision as it will give more depth to the experience and lend a little bit of drama and a sense of adventure to the storytelling and the film footage. The ride team will be followed by a support vehicle equipped with video and still cameras, supplies, and repair equipment for the bikes. The support vehicle will be manned by a support captain, a ride coordinator, a driver, and a cameraman.

The Cebu360 Project is ongoing but the ride itself is scheduled for sometime before the end of April, I’m just waiting for additional support before I can get going. Thanks for visiting the site, keep in touch, I’ll be posting more pictures, videos, and updates very soon!
